P&N Bank Appoints Chris Malcolm as Chief Data and Products Officer

(APAC) P&N Bank, part of P&N Group, one of the largest customer-owned banking organizations in Australia, has recently appointed Chris Malcolm as Chief Data and Products Officer. Formerly the company’s General Manager for Data, Analytics, and Open Banking, Malcolm brings over two decades of leadership experience in the financial services sector.

He is recognized as a seasoned generalist with a comprehensive understanding of various domains, coupled with a specialized focus on cultivating high-performance teams that consistently deliver impactful results.

Throughout his career, Malcolm has demonstrated a focused proficiency in Enterprise Data & Analytics, Open Banking, strategy development, and execution, as well as transformation and mergers and acquisitions. His passion lies in building teams that consistently deliver quality results, particularly in response to significant strategic opportunities or complex business problems, contributing to tangible business outcomes across multiple domains.

Malcolm's impactful contributions to the business include adding substantial book value and deposit funding flow through successful mergers and acquisitions, boosting sales and retention through the implementation of GSB’s Enterprise Data Strategy, and successfully delivering a complex $33 million technology/data strategic and compliance program.
