(US and Canada) American retail, energy, and logistics enterprise Pilot Company has appointed Rakesh Srinivasan as Senior Vice President and Chief Data and Artificial Intelligence Officer. Srinivasan brings over 15 years of experience in helping organizations improve growth and efficiency through the use of analytics and artificial intelligence. In this role, he and his team will focus on making informed and connected decisions that enhance the experiences of Pilot’s guests and team members.

“Rakesh brings a new approach to leveraging the latest in analytics and AI, which will further enable our teams and business to focus on what we do best—taking care of people and innovating for tomorrow,” says Andy Lupo, Chief Technology Officer.

“From their upstream and downstream energy operations, logistics, EV fast-charging network buildout, and nearly 900 travel centers across North America, Pilot is an exciting and complex business that is shaping the future of energy across the board. I’m looking forward to leveraging data and AI to drive operational excellence and create exceptional experiences for the more than 1.2 million guests, customers, and team members we serve every day,” Srinivasan wrote in a LinkedIn post.

Srinivasan’s leadership is expected to support Pilot’s data-driven strategies and ongoing business initiatives.
