(US and Canada) Pfizer has promoted Wendy Lawhead to Director, Capability Team Lead – Data Strategy and Management within the company’s Global Commercial Analytics (GCA) organization. Lawhead shared the career update via LinkedIn. She previously served as Director/Team Lead – Data Strategy & Management, where she led a team of Data Domain Leads responsible for delivering data products that supported Pfizer’s commercial biopharma marketing business.

With over a decade of experience in data strategy and product development, Lawhead has consistently led transformative initiatives that bridge technology, analytics, and business strategy. In her new role, she oversees a high-performing team supporting key analytics capabilities — including Marketing, Field Force, Performance Analytics, and Forecasting — while shaping data strategies that deliver measurable business impact.

She also serves as a trusted advisor to the Data Science, Integrated Insights & Strategy (IIS), and Performance Analytics teams, guiding the development of scalable, reliable, and agile data assets aligned with evolving business needs.

Before joining Pfizer, Lawhead held leadership roles focused on enterprise analytics, data science, and strategic insights. Her experience includes positions at McKesson, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital – ALSAC, West Cancer Center & Research Institute, and FedEx, among others.
