(US and Canada) Pharmaceutical major Pfizer has announced the appointment of Berta Rodriguez-Hervas as its new Chief AI and Analytics Officer. Rodriguez-Hervas will also serve as the Co-chair of Pfizer’s AI Council, playing a pivotal role in advancing the company's AI and analytics capabilities.
Lidia Fonseca, Pfizer's Chief Digital and Technology Officer and Executive Vice President, shared her excitement about the appointment in a LinkedIn post: “I am thrilled that Berta Rodriguez-Hervas has joined my Pfizer Digital leadership team as our Chief AI and Analytics Officer. She will also be the new co-chair of Pfizer’s AI Council.”
Rodriguez-Hervas brings a wealth of experience in AI, machine learning, and analytics, with a proven track record of rapidly developing and scaling AI solutions in large global organizations. Until recently, she was Vice President of Artificial Intelligence, Algorithms, and Machine Learning Operations at Stellantis, a global automotive company, where she played a key role in designing and implementing strategies for the next generation of autonomous vehicles. Prior to Stellantis, she held significant program and product development roles at NVIDIA and Tesla.
Rodriguez-Hervas also expressed her enthusiasm for her new role, stating, “I am incredibly inspired by the shared vision I have with Lidia Fonseca regarding the future of AI at Pfizer and the immense impact we will bring to patients' lives.
