PENN Entertainment has appointed Gary Hunter Chief Information Security Officer. Hunter brings extensive experience in cybersecurity and technology leadership across entertainment, retail, and travel.

Hunter joins PENN Entertainment from REI, where he served as Chief Information Security Officer. Before that, he held cybersecurity leadership roles at The Walt Disney Company, including Executive Director and Information Security Officer for The Walt Disney Studios and Executive Director and Deputy Information Security Officer for Disney Entertainment. During his tenure at Disney, he led security initiatives supporting streaming services, entertainment studios, and digital products.

Earlier in his career, Hunter served as Director of Security Engineering, Operations and Response at Expedia, where he led enterprise information security operations, engineering, incident response, and security architecture. He also spent more than 15 years at Travelport as an Enterprise Architect, designing technology solutions across products and business systems. an Enterprise Architect, designing technology solutions across products and business systems.
