Michael McNeil, Omnicell SVP, Chief Information Security Officer
Omnicell has promoted Michael McNeil to Senior Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer, reinforcing the company’s focus on strengthening cybersecurity leadership as organizations continue expanding in the cloud amid increasingly sophisticated threats.
The promotion expands McNeil’s responsibilities leading Omnicell’s global cybersecurity strategy across information systems, products, and operational technology, along with enterprise security governance efforts. He is also responsible for embedding security across the organization and advancing a security-first culture that supports innovation and risk management.
Before joining Omnicell, McNeil served as Senior Vice President and Global Chief Information Security Officer at McKesson, where he led enterprise cybersecurity strategy and governance and worked closely with executive leadership and the board on risk and compliance.
McNeil brings extensive cybersecurity leadership experience across the healthcare industry, including prior roles at Philips Healthcare and Medtronic. He also previously held leadership positions at Liberty Mutual Group and Pitney Bowes, building expertise across enterprise security, privacy, governance, and risk management.
