Olivia Kew-Fickus, Vanderbilt University Chief Data Officer Joins CDO Magazine Global Editorial Board

(US and Canada) We are pleased to welcome Olivia Kew-Fickus to CDO Magazine’s Global Editorial Board. Kew-Fickus is Chief Data Officer and Executive Director, Data and Strategic Analytics at Vanderbilt University.

Before joining Vanderbilt, Kew-Fickus served as the Director of Strategic Planning at the University of Birmingham in the UK, where she led strategy development, annual planning, and business intelligence. She was an early advocate for data governance in the UK higher education sector. Her current areas of focus are modern data technologies, data literacy and culture, and AI implementation. She began her career working in international development, including several years in Ukraine, and holds degrees from Princeton University and the University of Leicester (UK).
