Ninad Umrani has been promoted to Vice President, Provider AI and Digital Transformation at Elevance Health. Umrani leads enterprise-wide initiatives that leverage AI, data, and digital technologies to enhance the provider lifecycle and strengthen payer-provider collaboration.

According to his LinkedIn profile, his work focuses on provider network management, utilization management, and administrative functions — aimed at driving measurable improvements in operational efficiency, reducing medical costs, and easing the administrative burden in healthcare delivery.

Umrani has been with Elevance Health for more than three years, most recently serving as Staff Vice President of Digital AI Transformation and, before that, as General Manager, Staff Vice President, Carelon Digital Platforms. Prior to joining Elevance Health, he spent over 13 years at Anthem, Inc., where he held senior leadership roles including Staff Vice President and Senior Director of Enterprise Data and Analytics. He also previously served as Data Architect/Technology Lead at Johnson & Johnson and Delivery Executive at Patni Computer Systems Ltd.
