She will play a key role in enhancing Nexcom’s AI capabilities and driving innovation to improve customer experiences.

With over 20 years of experience in AI, machine learning, and data science, Afshar has led AI advancements at Shopify and The Home Depot. She holds a PhD in machine learning and has successfully developed AI-driven solutions that optimize e-commerce, boost customer engagement, and enhance personalization and automation. Her expertise includes generative AI, recommendation systems, computer vision, predictive modeling, and AI infrastructure.
