Nik Acheson, Monte Carlo Chief AI Officer
Monte Carlo, an agent trust platform, has appointed Nik Acheson Chief AI Officer. In his new role, Acheson will help advance Monte Carlo’s AI strategy as the company expands its agent trust capabilities, focusing on helping organizations improve the reliability and performance of autonomous AI agents in production environments.
Before joining Monte Carlo, Acheson served as Vice President of Data Strategy, Data Architecture and Engineering at Highmark Health, where he led enterprise-wide data transformation initiatives.
Earlier in his career, he held data and digital transformation leadership roles at Nike and Zendesk, and served as Chief Data Officer at Okera and Field Chief Data Officer at Dremio.
An award-winning executive, Acheson was recently recognized on the AI50 list at MachineCon in New York and received the Data & AI Visionary Award at DataNova in Miami.
Commenting on the appointment, Barr Moses, CEO and Co-Founder of Monte Carlo, said, “Nik has spent his career helping large, highly regulated enterprises get real value out of their data and AI investments, and he knows firsthand what it takes for enterprises to trust their data and their agents in production. As we build the agent trust category, having a leader like Nik, who has run into this problem himself at massive scale, is exactly what our customers need.”
“Data trust is hard enough. Agent trust demands autonomous development, delivery, and management on top of it. Monte Carlo was already a core part of how I’ve been solving that problem — now it’s home,” Acheson wrote in a LinkedIn post.
