Putcha is currently Vice President – Data and Analytics Platforms at UL Solutions, a global safety science leader. He is a visionary technology leader with over two decades of experience in driving digital transformation across multiple industries.

Putcha leads a culturally diverse global team responsible for Data Analytics, Machine Learning, Content Services, API Management, and Integration. He is passionate about learning new technologies, sharing best practices, and mentoring aspiring leaders.

In his role, Putcha builds platforms and solutions leveraging those platforms to deliver immediate and lasting value. These global platforms spanning cloud, enterprise analytics, machine learning, automation, digital foundations for cloud native apps, and GenAI have delivered acceleration, digitalization, and revenue-generating data products.

As a professional, Putcha has a proven track record of delivering innovative and impactful solutions that leverage analytics, cloud, and agile practices. He has spearheaded the vision, strategy, roadmap, and delivery of multi-million dollar transformational, enterprise-wide projects in the Pharma, Medical, Finance, Insurance, and Biotech industries.

Previously, Putcha led Digital Transformation, Architecture & Product Strategy at AON where he was instrumental in setting the business-aligned technology strategy that drove AON’s digital transformation with a focus on Cloud, DevSecOps, Big Data Analytics, Intelligent Automation (AI/ML/RPA), Digital Workplace and Product Strategy. This was preceded by key roles for digital transformation and enterprise architecture at Baxalta where he led the $306 Million spin-off from Baxter.

Prior to these roles, Putcha was CTO for the University of Chicago Medicine where he led the implementation of real-time analytics solutions that transformed patient care and optimized utilization. He rose through the ranks of Allstate, across roles in application development, architecture, and infrastructure operations, ultimately becoming Managing Director of Infrastructure and Innovation Services where he led a 400-person global team managing integration, middleware, and digital workplace solutions.

Putcha received an MBA with dual majors in Finance and Information Systems from the University of Illinois and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from Pune University. He is a Fellow of the Life Management Institute (LOMA) and a Certified Healthcare CIO and is currently pursuing a certificate in Artificial Intelligence: Business Strategies and Applications from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School and EECS.
