MetLife Appoints Glenn Hofmann as US Business Data Officer

Glenn Hofmann, MetLife Chief Data Analytics Officer

(US and Canada) Leading insurance provider MetLife has named Glenn Hofmann as its U.S. Business Data Officer, overseeing the 400-person data and analytics team that supports the company’s business in the country. Hofmann, who previously served as Chief Analytics Officer at New York Life Insurance, brings a wealth of experience in data and analytics leadership to his new position.

In his role, Hofmann is responsible for a broad scope of data functions, including infrastructure, management, engineering, business intelligence, and data science. His team supports MetLife’s U.S. operations, which represent approximately two-thirds of the company’s overall business and are recognized as a leader in group benefits for large and midsize companies.

Hofmann expressed his enthusiasm for building on the team’s strong foundation and enhancing its ability to support all business lines and functions effectively. He will be based at MetLife’s headquarters in New York City, located near Grand Central Terminal.
