Messer Construction Co. has appointed Chris Hickok as Vice President and Chief Information Officer. Hickok shared the update on LinkedIn.

Prior to joining Messer Construction, Hickok spent more than 21 years at Home City Ice, where he most recently served as Chief Information Officer from 2021 to 2025. He led the company’s information technology strategy and operations. Earlier at Home City Ice, he held the role of Director of Information Technology & Corporate Development, following progressive leadership positions across sales, plant operations, and management.

In addition to his executive leadership experience, Hickok currently serves on the Board of Trustees at The Circuit, a position he has held since 2019. He also served on the Board of Advisors at Schaefer from August 2023 through December 2025, providing executive and board-level advisory support.

Hickok brings a background that spans technology leadership, operations, and business development as he steps into the CIO role at Messer Construction Co., where he will lead the company’s information technology function as part of its executive leadership team.
