Janet George, Mastercard EVP of Artificial Intelligence
(US and Canada) Mastercard has appointed Janet George as Executive Vice President of artificial intelligence. In this role, she reports to the company’s chief AI and data officer and is responsible for advancing AI-driven payment technologies, strengthening security, and enhancing personalization.
Greg Ulrich, Mastercard’s Chief AI and Data Officer, highlighted the importance of AI and data in driving innovation and delivering value. He noted that George’s leadership and expertise make her well-suited for the role.
George now oversees Mastercard’s AI Center of Excellence, leading key initiatives in AI and data science. She is also involved in developing the technology, tools, and infrastructure that support the company’s AI professionals and data scientists.
“It’s clear that AI and data are not just tools – they are foundations of our future,” George said. “I look forward to collaborating with this talented team to push the boundaries of what’s possible and to contribute to Mastercard’s mission of connecting and powering the digital economy.”
Before joining Mastercard, George served as Corporate Vice President and General Manager of Data Center & Artificial Intelligence at Intel. Prior to that, she was Group Vice President of AI/Autonomous Enterprise, OCI Cloud, Edge, and Security at Oracle.
