MANTECH has elevated Dr. Kristen Summers to Vice President and Chief Data and AI Officer. The company announced the leadership move in a LinkedIn post, noting that Summers will continue leading its Data and AI Practice while overseeing the strategic direction of the company’s data and AI initiatives.

In her new role, Summers will set the strategic direction for MANTECH’s data and AI initiatives, building on the foundation established by Chief Technology Officer Brandy Durham. As part of the company’s Technology and Capabilities Organization, she and her team will continue delivering innovative data and AI capabilities for government and commercial clients.

Prior to taking on her current role, Summers served as Vice President and Technical Fellow, Data and AI at MANTECH. Before joining MANTECH, she served as Operating Unit CTO for Microsoft Federal. 

Earlier in her career, she held several leadership roles at IBM, including Distinguished Engineer and AI CTO for Data and AI Expert Labs and Learning, and was Technical Director at CACI. She holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Cornell University.
