Amouie is AVP – Enterprise Data and Analytics at Norfolk Southern where he oversees Architecture, Data, Business Intelligence, Operations Research, and Artificial Intelligence. He works closely with various departments within Norfolk Southern to formulate and solve impactful business problems using Data and AI, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning.

Amouie advises and implements large-scale innovative technology solutions, including emergent technologies, to drive business transformation and automation. He has played a key role in advancing Norfolk Southern’s Digital Strategy, delivering technology capabilities to support Norfolk Southern’s customer-centric, operations-driven values. His expertise lies in large-scale Data and Analytics Strategy, Data Architecture and Governance, Predictive Analytics, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, and Sensor Fusion.

Amouie has several publications and holds three patents. In his free time, he enjoys painting, playing golf, and hiking.
