LPL Financial has appointed Beth Hiatt as Senior Vice President of Product Management, Data Governance, and Responsible AI. Hiatt announced the move in a LinkedIn post.

Hiatt joins LPL Financial after more than six years at PayPal, where she served as Head of Global Data Governance. In that role, she led the design and execution of the company’s global data governance program, overseeing governance efforts across PayPal and its subsidiaries.

Earlier in her career, Hiatt was Chief Data & Information Officer at Unissant, where she directed the company’s Technology and Innovation Center and managed its commercial market business. She previously founded and led b2t Solutions, a consulting firm focused on data strategy, data governance, data quality, metadata management, and business intelligence.

Hiatt spent more than a decade at Fannie Mae, where she was the organization’s first Chief Data Officer. She was responsible for setting the company’s enterprise data strategy and driving adoption of data governance, quality, and management practices across the organization. She began her career at ProLink Services, where she worked in data warehousing and business intelligence delivery for telecommunications and financial services clients.
