Kenneth Clark, US Federal Government Senior Executive

(US and Canada) We are pleased to welcome Kenneth (“Ken”) Clark, Ph.D to CDO Magazine’s Global Editorial Board. Clark is a member of the Senior Executive Service in the U.S. Federal Government with over 35 years of government and industry experience leading teams supporting homeland security, defense, intelligence, and law enforcement communities.

Clark has expertise in national-level strategic planning, policy development, privacy and information governance, program and acquisition management, and information technology. He has held executive positions in multiple government agencies including Agency Chief Data Officer, Assistant Director overseeing the management, sharing, privacy protection, and disclosure of data and information; Senior Component Accountable Official leading an agency’s Presidential Transition Office in 2020; and Director, Information Sharing and Intelligence Enterprise Management leading programs supporting Department of Homeland Security intelligence and threat information sharing.

A retired lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Air Force, Clark served in positions that included Presidential Communications Officer under Presidents Clinton and Bush, White House Military Office Director of Information Technology Management, and Commander of the National Reconnaissance Office headquarters’ telecommunications and information technology operations and maintenance organization. He received his Doctor of Philosophy degree in public policy from George Washington University and his Master of Engineering degree in electronic engineering from the California Polytechnic State University.
