Ajit Menon, Johnson & Johnson Chief Global Commercial Data, Digital and AI Officer
Johnson & Johnson has promoted Ajit Menon to Chief Global Commercial Data, Digital and AI Officer, expanding his leadership remit across the company’s global data, digital, and artificial intelligence agenda as it continues to advance the commercialization of its portfolio and strengthen the use of emerging technologies across the enterprise. Menon announced his new role in a LinkedIn post.
In this role, he will oversee the company’s global data, digital, and AI strategy, focusing on advancing data science, digital health, and precision medicine capabilities across the organization. He will also lead efforts to scale generative and agentic AI applications to enhance commercial execution, improve competitiveness, and accelerate product launch success.
He has been with Johnson & Johnson for more than a decade, most recently serving as Vice President, Customer Engagement and Digital Transformation, where he led the design and deployment of AI- and machine learning-enabled customer experience solutions across patients, healthcare professionals, payers, and institutions.
Prior to that, he served as Senior Director, Commercial Innovation for North America, where he focused on personalized customer experience, agile marketing, and predictive analytics. He also held the role of Senior Director, Strategy, Analytics and Business Transformation, where he built a center of excellence for global data and analytics capabilities.
Before joining Johnson & Johnson in 2015, Menon spent six years at Biogen, where he led global business insights and analytics, forecasting, and commercial analytics functions supporting commercial strategy, portfolio prioritization, and long-range planning.
