(EMEA) AI-powered communications platform Jaid has recently appointed James Ramirez as Chief Information Security Officer. With over 20 years of experience in the financial services, fintech, and data management sectors, Ramirez has led multiple early-stage businesses through their security and compliance journeys. He holds both Chartered Engineer and Chartered IT Practitioner status.

Passionate about creating high-performing, diverse, and globally distributed teams that operate with lean, agile, and DevOps principles, Ramirez has a track record of enabling business growth, enhancing customer satisfaction, and managing risk and security programs.

He has also taken on interim responsibilities for product strategy, application support, and client operations in previous roles, supporting the succeeding director or CxO as those functions matured. James’s mission is to empower his team and organization to achieve their full potential through appropriate technology and continuous improvement, driven by self-reflection.

“It’s an exciting time to be back working with data scientists and machine learning engineers,” Ramirez shared in a LinkedIn post. “With this role, I will be spending some time in our London office on a regular basis,” Ramirez added.
