Kjersten Margaret Moody, Insight Partners Chief Data & AI Officer in Residence
Global venture capital and private equity firm Insight Partners has named Kjersten Margaret Moody as Chief Data & AI Officer in Residence. In this newly created advisory role, Moody will support portfolio executives on data and AI strategy, governance, and innovation readiness, while also assisting Insight’s investment team with technical and market diligence.
Moody brings more than 25 years of experience leading data, AI, and digital transformation across Fortune 100 companies. She previously served as Global Chief Data Officer at Prudential Financial, Chief Data & Analytics Officer at State Farm, and Vice President of Information & Analytics (CDO) at Unilever. Throughout her career, Moody has led enterprise-wide innovation initiatives, built and managed global teams of over 1,000 professionals, and served on several boards and advisory councils, including RiverPool, High Peak, and BigProfiles.ai.
In addition to her corporate roles, Moody has been active in advancing education and research, serving as a trustee at Harvey Mudd College and as an advisory board member for the University of Chicago’s Physical Sciences Division, where she contributed to establishing the Data Science Institute. She also holds a position on the CDO Magazine Global Board, showcasing her contributions to the field of data.
