Phil Parry. ICAEW CIO
(EMEA) The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) has announced Phil Parry as its new Chief Information Officer (CIO). Parry will oversee the institute’s technology and AI initiatives, IT operations, digital and publishing functions, and the delivery of its technology program. Reporting directly to Chief Executive Alan Vallance, he will also contribute to the leadership team.
Parry brings over 20 years of expertise in developing and executing technology strategies, with a strong focus on digital transformation and innovation. His background includes working with large organizations across sectors such as retail, hospitality, automotive, and property management.
Before joining ICAEW, Parry served as CIO at McArthurGlen for six years. During this time, he led transformative technology projects, implementing digital, data, and AI solutions while enhancing customer and employee experiences across 11 countries.
