HCF Australia Appoints Antony Ugoni as CDO

(APAC) Australian not-for-profit health fund HCF Australia has recently appointed Antony Ugoni as Chief Data Officer. Ugoni is a senior leader who is passionate and excited about helping organizations move the needle on deriving material commercial value while simultaneously providing better consumer experiences and making marketplaces better through the judicious use of their data.

Prior to joining HCF Australia, Ugoni served as Chief Data Officer at Go1, where he successfully built and established Go1's inaugural data strategy, leading to numerous impactful outcomes. He also previously served as Chief Data Officer at Bupa where he identified opportunities to internally disrupt an outdated business model, build new capability, and lift the data and analytic maturity of the organization.

As a proven data leader, he is continually focused on building empowered, motivated, and aligned teams giving individuals opportunities to flourish. His approach to leadership is through authenticity and empathy, allowing him to leverage and foster the best out of people. He is also involved with activities designed to drive analytic professions to have a seat at the decision-making tables.
