Fortive Appoints Jason Beyer as CDO

(US and Canada) Fortive, a global industrial technology company, has appointed Jason Beyer as Chief Data Officer. Beyer will be leading Fortive's efforts to maximize opportunities that enhance data management in a complex risk environment, working closely with Fortive's diverse Operating Companies to unlock new value and partnering to accelerate new AI and product capabilities.

Before joining Fortive, Beyer was at Bridgestone Americas, where he held multiple leadership positions. He most recently served as Vice President of Data and Analytics, where he led the enterprise Data and Analytics team in driving competitive advantage through reliable data and revenue-generating analytic solutions. He also previously served as Manager of Business Intelligence and Mobile Development at Boston Scientific.

Beyer is also the Global CDO Ambassador for the State of Tennessee and a CDO Magazine Global Editorial Board member. He is an experienced executive with more than 24 years of leading diverse global teams in automotive, industrial manufacturing, construction, medical device, retail, and government industries.

Reflecting on his appointment, Beyer stated in a LinkedIn post, "As data plays an increasingly critical role in unlocking value creation and differentiating AI portfolios, I am excited to lead Fortive's efforts in maximizing opportunities for data management.
