Mano Mannoochahr, Ford Motor Company Chief AI and Data Officer

Ford Motor Company has named Mano Mannoochahr Chief AI and Data Officer to help advance its AI and data capabilities while partnering with teams across Ford Blue, Ford Model e, Ford Pro, and Ford Credit.

Prior to joining Ford, Mannoochahr served as Chief Data, Analytics & AI Officer at Verizon, where he led the company’s enterprise-wide data, analytics, and AI strategy. In the role, he directed an organization of more than 3,000 employees focused on operationalizing AI at scale across customer, network, and enterprise domains. Before Verizon, he spent six years at Travelers as Senior Vice President and Chief Data & Analytics Officer, leading enterprise data, analytics, AI, and engineering capabilities while advising the CEO on digital transformation and AI-driven growth.

An award-winning data and AI executive, Mannoochahr was recognized among AI Magazine’s Top 100 AI Leaders for 2026, DataIQ’s 100 Most Influential People in Data and AI in 2025, Hot Topics’ Global CDOs 100 in 2025, and CDO Magazine’s Leading Influencers in North America in 2024 and 2025. Earlier in his career, he held senior leadership roles at GE and John Deere, where he led enterprise data, analytics, digital technology, and AI initiatives across global operations.

Sharing his thoughts on LinkedIn, Mannoochahr described joining Ford as “a meaningful homecoming,” noting that returning to American manufacturing after more than 20 years earlier in his career at companies such as John Deere and GE is “a deeply rewarding full-circle moment.”

He added, “Ford’s legacy of innovation is legendary, but what excites me most is the company’s clear vision for the future. I look forward to partnering with Mike Amend, Thomas Sweeney, the Enterprise Technology team, and thousands of talented colleagues across Ford Blue, Ford Model e, Ford Pro, and Ford Credit as we write this next chapter together.”
