First Citizens Bank has appointed Pankaj Singal as Executive Director – Enterprise Data and Analytics. He announced the move in a LinkedIn post.

Singal most recently served as Chief Data Officer, Risk Division at Goldman Sachs, where he held multiple senior leadership roles over more than eight years. These included Chief Data Officer – Platform Solutions and Head of Data Governance for Marcus by Goldman Sachs.

Earlier in his career, he spent more than a decade at Citi, where he held senior positions in finance, analytics, and data management, including Senior Vice President of Performance Analytics and SVP of Finance, Analytics and Data Management.

With deep expertise in finance, capital markets, data and risk management, and data governance, Singal has established analytics and data offices across global organizations, helping to drive transformation and operational efficiency.
