FedEx Corp. has appointed Vishal Talwar as Executive Vice President, Chief Digital and Information Officer of FedEx Corp., and President of FedEx Dataworks. Talwar most recently served as Senior Managing Director and Chief Growth Officer at Accenture Technology.

Bringing more than 27 years of experience in technology leadership, Talwar has worked extensively in data science, digital infrastructure, and enterprise-scale transformation. His career includes senior roles at Accenture, IBM, and Dell Services, with a strong focus on using cloud, data, and AI to strengthen business resilience, enhance operations, and support digital innovation. He has also collaborated closely with FedEx in recent years through Accenture, contributing to the company’s digital transformation initiatives.

In his new role, Talwar will oversee the company’s digital strategy and guide FedEx Dataworks, with responsibilities including digital solutions development, enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, and the integration of advanced technologies to strengthen customer and business outcomes.

Raj Subramaniam, President and CEO of FedEx Corp., welcomed the appointment, noting Talwar’s extensive industry experience and track record in driving business growth through digital transformation. Following this leadership change, senior executives from the Data and Technology organization and FedEx Dataworks will report directly to Talwar.
