Fannie Mae Appoints Gina Papush as Chief Data Officer

(US and Canada) Fannie Mae, a leading provider of mortgage financing in the U.S., has announced the appointment of Gina Papush as Senior Vice President and Chief Data Officer (CDO). She will report to Peter Akwaboah, Chief Operating Officer.
Papush brings more than 25 years of experience as a strategic business, operations, and AI executive, delivering significant financial impact through data, analytics, and digital transformation initiatives. She has a proven track record of leading large-scale teams and investments across Fortune 100, mid-size, and start-up organizations in sectors including financial services, healthcare, insurance, and technology.
Prior to joining Fannie Mae, Papush served as Chief Analytics Officer and Senior Vice President at Bristol Myers Squibb, where she led the Business Insights & Analytics function. Her career also includes leadership roles as a Non-Executive Board Member and Advisor at IAT Insurance Group, Adjunct Faculty and Executive Coach at Carnegie Mellon University, and Data Science & Operations Advisor at Honeysuckle Health. She holds a position on the CDO Magazine Global Editorial Board, showcasing her contributions to the field of data.
