Anoop Lalla, F5 CDAO
Cybersecurity major F5 has named Anoop Lalla as its Chief Data and Analytics Officer. He will lead the company’s enterprise-wide data strategy and play a pivotal role in advancing its transformation into a data- and AI-first organization.
Lalla brings more than 25 years of experience shaping and scaling global data and analytics capabilities across some of the world’s most innovative technology companies. He is a visionary data leader known for building high-performing, cross-functional teams and delivering platforms that drive both strategic decision-making and operational excellence.
Before joining F5, Lalla spent nearly five years at Okta as the Vice President and Head of the Data & Insights organization, empowering the business with trusted, actionable intelligence and helping scale the company through a period of rapid growth and global expansion. Prior to that, he served as the Vice President and Head of Enterprise Data & Analytics at Workday, where he redefined the company’s data foundation and modernized enterprise analytics to drive business agility. He also spent four years as Global Head of Data & Analytics at VMware, where he led large-scale data-driven transformation initiatives.
Lalla brings both technical depth and business acumen to his new role at F5, drawing on experience spanning regulated industries, large-scale enterprise platforms, and non-profits. In addition to his new role at F5, he also serves on the board of Jewish Vocational Services (JVS), a Bay Area nonprofit dedicated to workforce development and economic mobility. At F5, he joins a dynamic executive team that includes Chief Digital Officer Alvina Antar.
