EVA Pharma has appointed Deena Gergis as Head of AI and Data Analytics, effective August 2025. She will lead initiatives to leverage artificial intelligence and data to drive innovation in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries.

Gergis joins from McKinsey & Company, where she worked for more than two and a half years as an Expert in AI and Data Science, advising clients across the Middle East and Africa on data and analytics strategies. She brings more than 15 years of experience in AI and data science, with previous roles at Bayer, StepStone, and Deutsche Post DHL, as well as early career experience at Recognizer.

At Bayer, Gergis served as Lead Data Scientist for Consumer Health, where she was recognized with the Distinguished Women in Data Science Award (2021) and led an AI innovation project ranked among Bayer’s top three global initiatives in emerging technologies.
