Pharma manufacturer Perrigo Company has appointed Ethiraj Purushothaman as Vice President, Global Head of Data, Analytics & AI. Purushothaman is responsible for leading Perrigo’s global strategy in data, analytics, and AI.

He announced the appointment via LinkedIn, writing, “I’m happy to share that I’ve joined Perrigo Company plc as Vice President, Global Head of Data, Analytics & AI. I’m incredibly grateful to Jim Kinnett, Eduardo Bezerra, David Ball and Ravi Sankar for their trust and the opportunity to partner with them & other inspiring leaders across the company. I’m excited to contribute to Perrigo’s mission to make quality, affordable selfcare products accessible to everyone.”

Purushothaman brings extensive experience leading enterprise-level data, analytics, and AI initiatives. Over the course of his career, he has partnered with senior executives to integrate data and analytics into business strategy and has worked across a range of functions including marketing, CRM, digital, supply chain, finance, and IT. His background includes designing and scaling advanced analytics programs aimed at improving operational efficiency and enabling data-driven decision-making.

He previously served as Head of Advanced Analytics & Data Science at Best Buy and has held leadership roles at The Coca-Cola Company, Dell Technologies (via Mu Sigma), Mu Sigma, Cognizant Technology Solutions, and Tata Consultancy Services. In these positions, he has developed analytics capabilities focused on unlocking business value through data science, applied machine learning, and AI-driven solutions.

Purushothaman holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics from Anna University and completed business coursework at Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
