Arun Gupta, Equifax USIS SVP, Chief Data Officer
Equifax USIS has appointed Arun Gupta as Senior Vice President and Chief Data Officer. He will lead the USIS Data Organization, overseeing strategic investments in alternative, consumer, and commercial data, as well as centralized data platforms and strategy for the U.S. business. Gupta brings over 25 years of experience driving enterprise-scale transformations in regulated industries.
Prior to joining Equifax, Gupta served as Head of Data – Business Cards and Payments at Capital One, where he led business data strategy and AI/ML–ready platforms, directed 120+ team members, and delivered 50+ enterprise capabilities that boosted NPS by more than 40 points.
Earlier in his career, he was Managing Director at Airlines Reporting Corporation (ARC), where he launched seven new data products, including the industry’s largest airline travel intelligence platform, and helped increase ARC’s equity by 300% over five years. He also held roles at Sprint and IBM, managing enterprise product strategy and global rollouts.
A recognized thought leader in enterprise data strategy, AI/ML, and governance at scale, Gupta has partnered closely with CEOs, CFOs, CIOs, and boards to turn complex data assets into strategic outcomes.
“Equifax is built on a simple but powerful idea — equity through facts. I step into this role with clarity of purpose and excitement for what we can build next,” Gupta wrote on LinkedIn.
