(US and Canada) NYC Health + Hospitals has appointed Divya Pathak as Vice President and Chief Data and Artificial Intelligence Officer. Pathak will oversee the health system’s data and AI strategy, leading efforts to advance analytics, artificial intelligence, and digital innovation across the organization. She will guide a multidisciplinary technical team and foster collaboration among departments to implement data-driven solutions that improve care quality, operational efficiency, and patient outcomes.

Prior to this appointment, Pathak was Chief Data Officer at NYC Health + Hospitals, where she led enterprise data strategy and governance. Her expanded responsibilities now include systemwide leadership for AI initiatives.

Pathak has nearly two decades of experience in research, technology, and management, with prior roles at Mayo Clinic and IBM Research. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Jamshedpur, a Master of Science in Computer Science from Oklahoma State University, and an MBA from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.
