Deutsche Bank Appoints Eugene Gilerson as Group Chief Data Officer

Eugene Gilerson, Deutsche Bank Group Chief Data Officer

(US and Canada) Deutsche Bank has appointed Eugene Gilerson as its new Group Chief Data Officer, according to an update he shared on LinkedIn. He stepped into the role in June 2025, after serving as the bank’s U.S, Chief Data Officer for nine months.

Gilerson brings more than two decades of experience in data management, analytics, and regulatory transformation in the financial services industry. Before joining Deutsche Bank, he was Managing Director at Citi. He also spent nearly two decades at Credit Suisse, where he held several leadership roles, including Managing Director.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from New York Institute of Technology and an MBA in Finance from Jones International University. His areas of expertise include data management, program delivery, stakeholder management, and regulatory remediation.
