Amala Duggirala, Delta Air Lines Chief Digital & Technology Officer
Delta Air Lines has brought on Amala Duggirala as Chief Digital and Technology Officer, overseeing the airline’s digital and enterprise technology functions under a single leadership role. She reports directly to CEO Ed Bastian and serves on the Delta Leadership Committee.
Duggirala joins Delta Air Lines from USAA, where she served as Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer, leading the company’s enterprise technology strategy and delivery. With more than 25 years of experience in telecommunications, payments, and banking, she has led large-scale IT transformation initiatives.
Earlier in her career, Duggirala held senior leadership roles at Regions Bank and ACI Worldwide, where she drove digital transformation and modernization programs. Her core expertise spans cloud, mobile, and SaaS solutions, agile and software project management, process improvement, and technical innovation.
Duggirala has received industry recognition for her leadership, including being named one of Forbes’ Top 50 CIOs in 2021 and recognized as one of the most influential women in payments and in Alabama. She also serves on the board of Kelly, a global workforce solutions company, and advises several startups and nonprofits on technology and digital transformation.
Based in Atlanta, Duggirala oversees the airline’s technology and digital strategy, integrating commercial digital products with the enterprise technology foundation to support operations and enhance customer experiences.
