Davies Appoints Paul O’Brien as Group Chief AI Officer

(US and Canada) Professional services and technology firm Davies has appointed Paul O’Brien as the firm’s first Group Chief AI Officer. This new role is part of Davies’ strategy to enhance its use of artificial intelligence, including generative AI, across the company.

As Chief AI Officer, O’Brien will oversee the integration of AI within Davies, develop strategies for its ethical use, and expand AI capabilities across the firm’s global client base. He will continue his current responsibilities as Chief Technology Officer, reporting to Mark Grocott, CEO of Davies’ Global Solutions division, and Jen Morrissey, Chief Operations Officer.

Davies is investing in various AI initiatives, including Lauri, a claims technology solution designed to streamline claim handling and enhance valuation accuracy. The firm is also focused on platform integration and business system enhancements to support ongoing growth.
