At the helm of the Aladdin Client Transformations Data Migration Practice, Merzlyak spearheads the enhancement of BlackRock's alternatives and public accounting platform implementation methodologies. His strategic development of the Aladdin business intelligence for private markets sets a high standard within the industry.

Esteemed as a CDO 40 Under 40 Data Leader and lauded as an AI Innovator of the Year, Merzlyak's leadership in managing sizable global teams has been pivotal in fostering business expansion through actionable data insights. His proficiency in data mining, statistical analysis, and visualization is evident in the executive dashboards and analytics tools he has developed for numerous Fortune 500 and private-equity-owned firms. Merzlyak's prior experience includes leading the Performance Reporting and analytics at the London Stock Exchange Group and impactful roles at Cerberus Capital Management, PwC, and EY, focusing on analytics and value creation.

A Cornell University alumnus with a BA in Economics and Statistical Sciences, Merzlyak also holds an MBA and MS in Business Analytics from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business. He has a deep commitment to continuous learning and the application of data intelligence in the financial sector.
