Laura Walsh, Culligan International Global CIO
(US and Canada) Global water treatment company Culligan International has appointed Laura Walsh as its new Global Chief Information Officer (CIO). Walsh will lead the company’s global technology organization and strategy as it advances innovation in water filtration and sustainability.
Prior to joining Culligan International, Walsh served as Chief Information Officer at Smithfield Foods, where she led IT transformation across a global food production and manufacturing network. She has also held CIO roles at Carlisle Companies, Lydall, and Unimin Corporation, bringing experience across diverse industries and enterprise environments.

Walsh’s leadership is rooted in aligning technology with business goals, addressing technical debt, and driving scalable solutions with an emphasis on risk management, realistic pacing, and team development. She emphasizes collaborative leadership and strategic investment in technology grounded in organizational needs and transformation appetite.
In addition to her executive roles, Walsh is Chairperson of the Technology Business Management (TBM) Council and an adjunct professor of Management Information Systems at Southern Connecticut State University. She cites mentoring and developing others as a key focus in her career.
