(EMEA) Kuwait Credit Information Network Company (CINET) has recently appointed Mai AlOwaish as Chief Executive Officer. CINET is a closed Kuwaiti shareholding company specializing in credit information for preparing credit records and issuing credit reports and credit classification for individual and corporate clients.

Mai AlOwaish has an extensive background in data science and innovation, having served as the Chief Data and Innovation Officer at Gulf Bank where she implemented the bank's data strategy and introduced innovative banking solutions across various business groups through data science and advanced analytics. With 20 years of experience in both Kuwait and the U.S., AlOwaish has led numerous data analytics and e-commerce projects, driving digital transformation and innovation in sectors including finance, retail, and aviation.

AlOwaish is a recognized expert in her field, with her work published in the Harvard Business Review, the Applied Marketing Analytics journal, and the book "Analytics Interpreted." She is also a former Board member of the Digital Analytics Association (DAA) and has received the DAA President’s Award. Additionally, she has been a featured speaker at Google Summits and events hosted by The Economist. She holds a position on the CDO Magazine Global Editorial Board, showcasing her contributions to the field of data.
