Cindy Tu, Discover Financial Services IT Audit Director

(US and Canada)  We are pleased to welcome Xin (Cindy) Tu to CDO Magazine’s Global Editorial Board. Tu is an IT Audit Director at Discover Financial Services managing the IT and Data audit portfolio.

Prior to joining Discover, Tu was with Fannie Mae and Sallie Mae with an overall 17 years of experience in the IT & Data Audit field. She specializes in building IT & Data Audit Framework for the Financial Services Industry.

Tu is passionate about Data and AI Governance and is currently actively involved with maturing the practices at Discover Financial Services. She firmly believes that a partnership between Auditors and CDO organization is a mutually beneficial partnership for both sides.

Additionally, Tu is actively involved with building out Data and AI Governance Frameworks by participating in the CDMC and AI, Data & Analytics Capabilities Working Groups at the EDM Council.
