Prior to joining Centene, Batchelder served as Chief Data Officer and SVP, Global Data Governance at Salesforce where she provided the California-based company with the right data at the right time with the right controls. Before joining Salesforce, she served as CDO for VMWare and was responsible for the company’s automation, data science center of excellence, business insights, analytic solutions, and delivering excellence in data management capabilities globally with an annual impact of greater than US$1 billion.

Before her stint at VMWare, Batchelder worked with Wells Fargo, Aviva USA, KPMG, and Ernst and Young and has a track record of demonstrated excellence in tackling business problems with technical solutions and excels at developing diverse, agile team members into leaders to maximize their potential and growth. She loves to speak about how to enable companies to make the right decisions with the right data at the right time.

Batchelder has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Management Information Systems from Miami University and a master’s in Accounting from Drake University. She was named in CDO Magazine’s 40 Under 40 Data Leaders 2023 List, recognizing the most accomplished and inspiring individuals in the field of data who are under the age of 40.
