Cell C Appoints Bryan O’Donovan as CDAO

Bryan O’Donovan, Cell C CDAO

(EMEA) South African telecom company Cell C has appointed Bryan O’Donovan as Chief Data and Analytics Officer. In this role, O’Donovan will lead the management of the organization’s data and analytics assets, data-driven decision-making processes, and optimization initiatives.

With a background spanning actuarial science, financial services, and telecommunications, O’Donovan brings 19 years of industry experience to his new position. Prior to joining Cell C, he held Managing Executive roles at Vodacom South Africa and gained extensive experience during his tenure at Hollard Insurance.

“I am excited to join Cell C and lead the organization’s data and analytics initiatives,” says O’Donovan. “I look forward to collaborating with the teams at Cell C to leverage data and analytics in driving strategic decision-making and delivering value to our customers.”

O’Donovan holds a Bachelor of Economic Science in Actuarial Science and a Bachelor of Science Honors in Actuarial Science and Maths of Finance from the University of Witwatersrand. He is also a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries as well as the Actuarial Society of South Africa.
