Charlotte Baldwin, Burberry CIO
(EMEA) British luxury fashion house Burberry has announced the appointment of Charlotte Baldwin as its new Chief Information Officer (CIO), effective at the end of March 2025. Baldwin will lead the company’s global technology team and serve as a member of the Executive Committee, reporting directly to Burberry CEO Joshua Schulman.
Burberry CEO Joshua Schulman expressed his enthusiasm for Baldwin’s appointment, stating, “Charlotte is a highly experienced technology and digital leader with a track record of leading large-scale digital transformation. I am delighted that Charlotte will be joining our leadership team and look forward to working with her to advance our technological capabilities and drive our strategy forward.”
Baldwin brings more than 26 years of experience in digital and operational transformation across multiple industries, including retail, financial services, legal, and publishing. She joins Burberry from Costa Coffee, part of the Coca-Cola Company, where she served as Global Chief Digital and Information Officer, overseeing technology strategy and digital innovation.
She has been recognized in the CIO 100 list, which highlights the most influential and innovative technology leaders in the UK. Her expertise spans digital strategy development, technology team leadership, operating model optimization, and modernizing complex legacy systems.
