Non-profit healthcare major Bon Secours Mercy Health has elevated Tracy Griffin to the role of Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), following her service in the interim role since May. The appointment was announced in an official LinkedIn post.

Griffin most recently served as Director of Information Security Risk and Assurance, where she led enterprise risk and compliance efforts. She has more than two decades of healthcare-focused experience in cybersecurity, HIPAA compliance, healthcare operations, and information governance.

In her new role, Griffin will lead the organization’s vision and strategy to protect information assets and technologies. Her responsibilities include strengthening defenses across data and systems, as well as advancing third-party cybersecurity accountability and performance.
