(US and Canada) Blend, a global leader in AI-powered data science, has appointed Steven Tom as Senior Vice President, Data Science & Insights (BI) P&L, a newly created role aimed at driving innovation through generative AI (GenAI) solutions. Tom will lead efforts to develop and scale AI-powered experiences, enhancing Blend’s impact across industries.

Tom brings extensive experience from his previous role as Senior Vice President and Chief Customer Officer at Adtalem Global Education, a national leader in healthcare education. At Adtalem, he led technology, analytics, product development, and the B2B solutions group, focusing on digital transformation and AI-driven solutions that improved learning outcomes, customer engagement, and operational efficiency. His background in professional services at Deloitte and KPMG has provided him with a strong foundation in both strategic innovation and operational execution.

In his new role, Tom will oversee Blend’s efforts to integrate generative AI into financial services, hospitality, and the technology, media, and telecom (TMT) sectors. His work will focus on bridging data science with business intelligence to accelerate decision-making and enhance customer experiences.
