(US and Canada) We are pleased to welcome Bhaskar Borah to CDO Magazine’s Global Editorial Board. Borah serves as SVP, Head of Marketing Data Science & Technology for Dow Jones. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, he is charged with standing up a best-in-class data science function focusing on subscriptions and other lines of revenue across the company.

Borah joined Dow Jones 10 months ago and within that time, he has built a high-performing team focused on setting up both foundational and transformational data science and AI tools and capabilities. These foundational capabilities include AI/ML governance, data ecosystem streamlining, business Intelligence streamlining, and data enrichment.

Transformational capabilities include dynamic pricing, MMM & MTA tools for media optimization, forecasting engine for NPV-based decisioning and AI/ML models. His team is responsible for enhancing the organization’s data- and science-based granular decision-making across pricing, media planning, product design, personalization, and content strategy across the Marketing team. Borah also serves on the AI Steering Committee for Dow Jones.

Borah has over two decades of deep data science experience, developing and deploying data-driven strategies and capabilities at scale. Prior to joining Dow Jones, he led global data science teams at Citi across different US Consumer businesses and channels. He is passionate about deploying data science tools and technologies as growth engines to solve real business problems.
