(US and Canada) Global financial services firm Barings has recently appointed Sana Ramasamy as Chief Data Officer. Ramasamy will be leading Enterprise Data and Investment Systems, overseeing the execution of the firm’s data strategy and supporting front-office and back-office investment teams.

In his role, Ramasamy reports to the Chief Information Officer and sits on the Global Technology and Data leadership team. Over the last two decades, he led application development, modernization, and digital transformation initiatives as the Global Head of Software Engineering for Barings. He also managed database administration and other data teams.

Ramasamy is a Microsoft Azure Certified Solutions Architect and he holds a Master’s in Computer Applications degree from Thiagarajar College of Engineering, in Tamil Nadu, India.
