Bain & Company has appointed Raghu Valluri Executive Vice President, Data & Technology. In the role, he will help shape the data and AI foundation that powers Bain’s work as organizations increasingly adopt artificial intelligence.

Valluri joins Bain & Company after more than five years at Capital One, where he most recently served as Vice President, Data/Analytics/ML/AI. He led data and analytics initiatives for Credit Card Technology, overseeing software and data engineering, analytics, and machine learning solutions. His responsibilities included implementing modern data architecture, building data products for operational, analytics, machine learning, and generative AI workloads, enhancing data quality and security, and managing resilient data operations.

Prior to Capital One, Valluri was Senior Director of Nike Technology at Nike, leading global software and platform engineering teams while overseeing data and analytics, strategy and PMO, IT service management platforms, and retail and distribution center infrastructure capabilities.
