Adam Holland, Ascension CISO
(US and Canada) Leading healthcare provider Ascension has appointed Adam Holland as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). Holland, a seasoned cybersecurity leader with extensive experience working in global Fortune 500 companies, announced his new role on LinkedIn.
Prior to joining Ascension, Holland served as CISO at The Wendy’s Company, where he led a global information security team of 40 professionals. His leadership was instrumental in enhancing operational performance and stability across more than 7,000 restaurants worldwide, as well as overseeing the deployment of security tools that supported Wendy’s digital business growth. Before his tenure at Wendy’s, he held the position of Vice President of Global Cyber Defense and Consumer Health at GSK.
With a career spanning the pharmaceutical, retail, and food service industries, Holland has consistently positioned security as a core business function. He is recognized for his ability to drive alignment between cybersecurity initiatives and overarching business objectives while fostering high-performance teams through mentorship and leadership development.
Beyond his corporate experience, Holland has been actively involved in community service, having received the Helen Walton Community Service Award for his work with schools and nonprofits. His background also includes time in law enforcement, further reinforcing his commitment to protecting and serving others.
