(US and Canada) Leading biotechnology company Amgen has appointed Raj Nimmagadda as Vice President, Enterprise Data Strategy and Engineering. In this role, she will lead enterprise data strategy, data and analytics platforms, and data engineering to drive AI-driven innovation. She will also oversee the establishment of Amgen India’s AI & Data organization.

Nimmagadda brings extensive experience in data strategy, transformation, and governance. Prior to joining Amgen, she served as Chief Data Officer, R&D, Data and Data Sciences at Sanofi, where she was responsible for next-generation data strategy development and execution to enhance data utilization across R&D functions. Her role included building data teams, developing governance programs, and leading technology transformation to strengthen data foundations.

Before Sanofi, Nimmagadda held leadership roles at Novartis, CoreLab Partners, Inc., and Johnson & Johnson, focusing on clinical technology, data management, and digital transformation.

With over 20 years of experience in digital transformation, data sciences, and technology solutions, Nimmagadda brings a strong background in drug research and development, clinical data management, and data governance.
